Organizational Changes at LGH

We are pleased to announce that Karoline Myklebust Linde has been promoted to the position as Managing Director of LGH, effective Jan 1, 2017.

Karoline is currently heading the LGH Program Development and Implementation Team, and previously worked two years as program support manager for Laerdal from a base in Tanzania. Prior to joining Laerdal, she was president of the organization for Norwegian students abroad, and also worked for UNICEF in Nepal and China. Karoline has completed two Masters, one in sustainable development from Science Po Paris and one in International Relations from Beijing University. Her educational background and her vast experience living and working abroad will lend itself well to her new role.

Tore Laerdal will from the same date become Executive Chairman of LGH. 

 

Laerdal Global Health has furthermore strengthened its Program Development and Implementation Team as follows:

Unni has extensive experience working for UNICEF and NORAD, and as program director of NIPI.

 

 

Alemnesh, MPH, is a midwife with 25 years of experience, including serving as the President of the Midwifery Association.

 

Sakina, MSE, comes from the Johns Hopkins University CBID Program. She has worked with LGH and Jhpiego in the Day of Birth Alliance.
