Sunny Jinjie Chen and Pushkar Ingale join Laerdal Global Health
The Laerdal Global Health team is growing! We are happy to announce that two new Product Development Engineers, Sunny Jinjie Chen and Pushkar Ingale, have joined our group.
Sunny Jinjie Chen started working with us at Laerdal Global Health after completing his Global Biodesign Fellowship. His fellowship was done with our partner organization Jhpiego as part of the Day of Birth Alliance. He concentrated his fellowship on developing a blood pressure monitor for preeclampsia screening to be used by Community Health Workers. He has also worked at the Computational Interaction and Robotics Lab with the Whiting School of Engineering. Other accomplishments include solving unmet needs of bedridden patients at orthopedics and ICU wards
Sunny is a graduate of the Biomedical Engineering program at Johns Hopkins University, USA.
Pushkar Ingale is coming to this position after completing his innovation fellowship with Stanford India Biodesign. During his fellowship, he focused on solving unmet needs within Acute Pediatric Care in India. He is also the co-founder of Koham Labs - an innovation and design studio in India. His earlier work profiles included, motorcycle design, industrial design and a productivity specialist.
Pushkar is a mechanical engineer and has done a masters program in industrial design from Industrial Design Center, IIT Bombay, India.
